DTF Film

Use HEAVY PRESSURE! It should be hard to close your press!

Set heat press to the correct temperature. Keep in mind that every press is different. 

270° to 300°

Pre-press garment for 5 to 7 seconds.

Line up your transfer on the garment. Press for 15 seconds.  

Let the transfer cool before peeling. You can warm peel but please be careful!

Once transfer has cooled, remove the film slowly. If the transfer is not adhering, check your pressure and press again. 

Cover the design with parchment paper, a plain t-shirt, Teflon or copy paper and repress for 7 to 10 seconds.

How to Care for Your Shirts with DTF?

Direct to Film transfers hold up extremely well when pressed and washed properly. 

Do not wash or dry on high heat. Low or Medium heat is fine. 

Do not use Fabric Softener! Using Fabric Softener will cause the transfer to crack. 

 

**Every heat press is different, it's best to check your heat press with a heat gun to ensure you have accurate temperature.
